Upcoming update to the Sonos service on IFTTT
IFTTT is updating the Sonos service and the API it uses.
As part of this update, you will need to reconnect the Sonos service starting March 16, 2026 to ensure your existing Applets continue working as expected.
Do I need to take action right now?
The Sonos service will be updated on March 16, 2026. At that time, you’ll need to reconnect the service to keep your Applets running smoothly.
No action is needed before then.
Will I receive a reminder?
Yes. We will send a reminder email when it is time to reconnect.
How do I reconnect the Sonos service?
Starting on March 16, follow these steps:
Sign in to your IFTTT account.
Select Reconnect.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
Once reconnection is complete, your existing Applets will continue to function as normal.
Do I need to remake or edit my Applets?
No. Your existing Applets will not need to be updated. Once you reconnect the Sonos service on March 16, 2026, all of your Applets will continue to function as normal.
What happens if I do not reconnect?
If you do not reconnect the Sonos service after March 16, your existing Applets that use Sonos will stop working. After reconnecting your existing Applets will continue to run as normal.
