Mozilla has announced the shutdown of the Pocket service, which will impact the Pocket IFTTT service.

Alternative IFTTT services
If you’re looking for ways to save and organize articles or reading lists, here are some popular alternatives you might consider:
- iOS Reading List: Reading List is a feature of Safari that allows you to save articles for later. Turn on Applets to bring interesting information straight into your reading list, automatically. This service requires the IFTTT app for iOS.
- Instapaper: Instapaper lets you save anything you want to read or watch later, and transforms it into a perfectly formatted experience, whenever you're ready, on whatever device you've got handy.
- Innoreader: Inoreader is the content reader built for power users who want to save time. Its host of features lets you harness the full potential of RSS to automate your content discovery by saving, sharing and organizing your daily reading.
- Raindrop.io: All in one bookmark manager
- Evernote: Evernote is a cross-platform, freemium app designed for note taking, organizing, and archiving. Turn on Applets to sync and save the information you care about to your notebooks — automatically and quickly.
Updating existing Applets:
Applets that use Pocket Triggers or Actions will continue to work until July 8th. After that, they’ll be archived.
To keep using your Applets, update them before July 8th by replacing the Pocket Trigger or Action with another service, such as one from the list above.

How to update an Applet that uses a Pocket Trigger:
- Go to ifttt.com/my_applets and open the Applet you want to update.
- Select Settings in the top right.
- Select Delete next to the Applet’s Trigger.
- Select Add next to If This, then search for and choose a replacement service.Choose a Trigger from the new service, fill in any required fields, then select Create Trigger.
- Update the Applet’s Action, and if you're using Query or Filter code, replace any Pocket Ingredients with Ingredients from the new Trigger.
- Follow the remaining prompts to save your Applet
How to update an Applet that uses a Pocket Action:
- Go to ifttt.com/my_applets and open the Applet you want to update.
- Select Settings in the top right.
- Select Delete next to the Applet’s Action.
- Select Add next to Then That, then search for and choose a replacement service.
- Choose an Action from the new service, fill in any required fields, then select Create Action.
- Follow the remaining prompts to save your Applet
