How do I update my username or email address?

To edit your account's username or email address, follow the instructions below. 

1. Sign in to your account and head to Account settings.
2. Click on the username or email address field and enter the username or email address you’d like to use.
3. Save your changes by scrolling down and clicking Update. If you change your email address, you'll be sent a verification email. Be sure to open the new email and click the Confirm email change button to confirm your new email address.

Email Applets

Changing your IFTTT account email will not affect Applets using the Email or Email Digest service. To update those, you'll have to visit Email settings or Email Digest settings, click Reconnect, and complete the verification process.

Updating your email address does not affect the title of your Email Applets. To change that, head to your Applet page, select the Applet you want to rename, and click Edit title.
