You can connect to a service on IFTTT in many ways:
Through the explore page:
- Visit the explore page and enter the service name in the search bar
- Click or tap on the card for the service you searched for
- Click or tap Connect on the service page
- You will be redirected to the service for authorization
- Enter your username and password, or use credentials from an OAuth service if supported (e.g. Sign in with Google)
- Once authorization has been complete, you will be returned to IFTTT

- Click or tap Connect on the service page
- You will be redirected to the service for authorization
- Enter your username and password, or use credentials from an OAuth service if supported (e.g. Sign in with Google)
- Once authorization has been complete, you will be returned to IFTTT
By connecting to a premade Applet if the service is not already connected:
- Visit the services page and enter the service name in the search bar
- Select a premade Applet that connects to the service
- Click or tap Connect on the Applet page
- You will be redirected to the service for authorization
- Enter your username and password, or use credentials from an OAuth service if supported (e.g. Sign in with Google)
- Once authorization has been complete, you will be returned to IFTTT
By creating an Applet if the service is not already connected:
- Choose a trigger, action, or query from the service while creating an Applet in the Applet composer
- You will be redirected to the service for authorization
- Enter your username and password, or use credentials from an OAuth service if supported (e.g. Sign in with Google)
- Once authorization has been complete, you will be returned to IFTTT
