When using the IFTTT SMS service, the Send me an SMS action lets you send a message directly to your phone. This is useful for staying notified about important events, such as upcoming meetings, motion detected by cameras, new leads, and more.
To ensure messages conform to carrier guidelines, any SMS sent through IFTTT Applets must follow our content guidelines. Applets that generate messages with prohibited content may be disconnected or removed.
