Newer Google Assistant devices have a built-in Voice Match feature that lets individuals train Google Assistant to recognize their voices for a more personalized experience.
This has several implications for how Google Assistant Applets work on these devices:
- Voice Matched users are able to trigger their own Applets
- Voice Matched users are not able to trigger Applets from other IFTTT accounts
- Non-Voice Matched users are able to trigger all Applets
