You can edit existing Applets that you've created or enabled using IFTTT Chat or the Classic Composer. The steps below outline how to edit Applets on mobile and on ifttt.com, as well as how to edit Applets created by other users.
Editing Applets using IFTTT Chat
You can edit existing Applets that you've created or enabled directly from IFTTT Chat. To do so, go to ifttt.com/create and enter a prompt describing the changes you'd like to make to your Applet.
You can include the Applet's ID, the Applet's title, or a description of what the Applet does in your prompt, along with the changes you'd like to make. Then click Start building to update your Applet.
Editing Applets on mobile using the Classic Composer
On mobile, select the ⚙︎ icon in the top-right corner of the Applet to edit its settings. Once you've finished editing your Applet, select Update to save your changes.
Editing Applets on ifttt.com Classic Composer
On the web, go to your Applet's page and click Edit Applet. Once you've finished editing your Applet, click Update to save your changes.
Editing Applets created by other users
To edit an Applet that you didn't create, you'll first need to Make it your own.
To do so, head to the Applet page and click Settings.
Click the part of the Applet you'd like to modify, then click Make it your own.
Click Convert, and you'll now be able to make changes.
Once converted, you can make your changes. When you're finished, click Update and follow the remaining prompts to save your Applet.
