Top reasons for card declines include incorrect CVC (the 3 digit code on the back of your card or the 4 digit code on the front of your American Express card), expired card, or insufficient funds. You can check to see if you have entered the CVC correctly or whether your card is expired by viewing the payment method details displayed on ifttt.com/billing .
If you're still having trouble, we'd recommend trying a different card. You can update your default payment method by going to ifttt.com/billing and pressing the Edit payment info.
Declines may also be caused by the fraud protection that is applied automatically by your bank or financial institution.
