Any Applet that works with one of the Button, Note, or Camera services can be a widget. Here's how to add and manage them.
iOS
Applets using one of the above services will appear in the Widgets section under your profile in the IFTTT app. You can visit your profile by tapping the icon on the top right of the IFTTT app.
Widgets on iOS can be accessed in the Today View:
- From your home screen, swipe right until you reach the Today View
- Scroll down to the bottom and tap Edit
- Tap the plus button ( + ) in the top right corner
- Scroll down and select IFTTT
- Choose your widget style and tap Add Widget
Legacy iOS widgets
Legacy widgets can also be accessed in the Today View:
- From your home screen, swipe right until you reach the Today View
- Scroll down to the bottom and tap Edit
- Scroll down again and tap Customize
- Find IFTTT and tap the green plus button ( + )
- Tap Done
Android
Adding widgets from the IFTTT app
- Open the IFTTT app and tap on your widget Applet
- Next to 'You may use this widget on your home screen.', tap Add
- Note: The instructions you receive for adding the widget to your home screen are handled by the Launcher app, not IFTTT, so you may receive different instructions than below

- Long press any empty space on your home screen and tap Widgets
- Scroll down to find IFTTT, then long-press either IFTTT Large or IFTTT Small and drag onto an empty space on your home screen
- Select your Applet
